Redsteps succesfully organised the Striking Film Festival for our client, Collins234 on the 4th of August in collaboration with Striking Productions. The SOLD OUT event raised over $1,500 for Melbourne City Mission.

Proudly presented by Collins234, the Striking Film Festival supported emerging Melbourne and student film makers. Attendees got to enjoy a night of fine wine, gourmet cheese, live entertainment and a dazzling display of short films designed to showcase Melbourne at its best.
Proceeds from the ticket sales were donated to the Melbourne City Mission Evolution program, helping at-risk youth in Australia to work closely with an artist and develop their own creative skills.
Awarded by a panel of celebrities and film industry experts, The Striking Film Festival awarded over $2500 in prize money to:
Most Outstanding Film – Peacekeeper
Best Student Film – Night Mail
Best Film Over $5,000 – Welcome to dookie
Best Film Under $5,000 – Peacekeeper
People’s Choice Award – Bringing Home Lakaya
